Setting: The Abyssal War

Beneath the crushing depths of the ocean lies a vast and resource-rich network of geothermal vents known as the Iron Arteries. These vents emit heat, minerals, and—most crucially—oxygen in gaseous pockets. Since the Great Collapse left the surface world barren and uninhabitable, humanity has been forced into the oceans, creating sprawling underwater cities powered by steam-driven technology. But life here is desperate: oxygen is scarce, food is limited, and survival means stealing what you can’t produce.

Three factions now wage war over the Iron Arteries, using towering steam-powered Submersible Mechs called Mech O Naughts. These lumbering, mechanical behemoths are the deadliest weapons ever conceived, equipped with everything from Tridents to harpoon cannons, and are powered by the very geothermal energy they fight over.
